WELCOME TO BUGGENHEIM

UNPACKED AND SPECULATIVE
Intentionally eclectic and idiosyncratic - for the purpose of understanding and shaping the future
Buggenheim means the Home (translate from "New Norwegian") of Bugge. In this case for me, Trond Bugge. It is also a play with the name of one of my favorite art collectors, Guggenheim.

Like Solomon R. Guggenheim, I´m committed to innovation, capturing and preserving vibrant images of tomorrow, speculate about possible futures, and explores ideas across cultures through my work, educational initiatives, and collaborations.

I have a combined experience of 16 years as a Planner, Research & Strategy Manager, and Innovation Strategist, and 11 years as "BootStrap Innovator" / Tech Entrepreneur. Yes, proud IDG Entrepreneur of the Year nominee, Dragon Den´s winner, Retail Awards Winner, and first-wave Mobile Game millionaire.

In my Post-Entrepreneur era, I have along with my corporate endeavors (for CGI, Arla Food, L'Oréal, Kinnarps, Paulig, AstraZeneca, Magotteaux, etc) enjoyed being a mentor for various tech startups, and 3 years in a row Jury member of Venture Cup - Sweden's no.1 competition for business ideas and startups.

Currently dedicated to democratizing Innovation at IKEA, where I work as Co-creation Leader, Group Strategy, Development & Innovation.
I will not reveal much from my work at IKEA (beyond my historical tribute), but rather share a private selection of tools that I have found useful or developed during my work-life experience. You can also follow my tomorrow-today captures in the Trend Bugge section.

TREND* BUGGE
*during my six years of duty as Future Strategist and Director at Kairos Future (an international consulting and research company that helps companies and business leaders to understand and shape their futures), my exemplary well-articulated Co-worker & Partner Göran Krafft unintentionally and repetitively called me Trend Bugge :-)) So, let that be the name of the section where I share my daily blog-like captures of what´s happening out there in our vibrant surroundings. Enjoy, comment, and share!
